Dr. Lydia Elias has been wrangling kiddos and conquering pediatric puzzles since 2005—like a superhero with a stethoscope and an endless supply of stickers!

She zoomed through her Pediatric Residency at UCSF-Fresno, snagged her board certification in Pediatrics (because acing tests is her jam), and now she's dropping knowledge bombs as Clinical Faculty at Western University of Health Sciences Medical School. Oh, and she's got VIP access on the medical staff at Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center—talk about a doc with all the right connections!

With over 20 years of pediatric playground experience (yep, way more than 10—time flies when you're having fun with fevers and first steps!), Dr. Elias is a total pro in every corner of kiddo care. But her extra-special sparkle? Child Behavior and Development—she's like a wizard turning tantrums into triumphs! And get this: She founded the super-popular Lighthouse Pediatrics back in 2011, building it from the ground up like a Lego masterpiece.

Now, as a married mom to four pint-sized adventurers, Dr. Elias is living the dream: juggling diapers and doctor duties while high-fiving parents with real-talk empathy. "Been there, done that—got the spit-up stains to prove it!"
Bonus points: She speaks Spanish fluently, so no language barriers here! Dr. Elias bends over backward (or does cartwheels, if needed) to make sure every family's healthcare adventure is smooth, educational, and full of "aha!" moments. She's always on call for questions, because who needs a cape when you've got compassion?

Dr. Christopher Ng
Pediatrician
Dr. Chris Ng is thrilled to be hopping aboard the Lighthouse Pediatrics crew—like a kid on a sugar rush at a playground!
Way back in med school at Western University of Health Sciences, Dr. Ng got the ultimate mentorship high-five from Dr. Elias. That's when he first peeked into Lighthouse Pediatrics and thought, "Whoa, this place is warmer than a fresh batch of cookies!" He instantly caught the family-vibe bug and daydreamed about zooming back to join the fun. Guess what? Dreams do come true—poof! Here he is!
Dr. Ng powered through his residency at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital's Primary Care Track, where he snagged the "Resident of the Year" trophy (because who doesn't love a good gold star?) and got inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for his super-compassionate, hug-it-out style of care. All that kiddo-wrangling solidified his love for pediatrics and his motto: "Treating little ones means high-fiving the whole family!"
He gets his giggles from watching kiddos sprout up, soak up smarts, and snag lifelong healthy habits—like turning veggies into superhero fuel. His superpowers shine in mental health and nutrition, where he helps families whip up easy-peasy tricks to keep those tiny humans thriving (no capes required, but optional!).
When he's not playing doctor (the real kind, not the pretend one with toy stethoscopes), Dr. Ng is all about wheels—zipping on bikes, revving up cars, or just tinkering like a mad scientist in his garage. He's a fix-it wizard who can build anything from scratch! Off-duty, he's jet-setting with his fiancée, chowing down on wild new eats, and channeling his inner Mickey Mouse at Disneyland—because who can resist those magical mouse ears?

Jamie Coles, P.A.
Physician Assistant
Jamie Coles, a nationally certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), brings a hearty dose of compassion and a sprinkle of humor to pediatric care. Armed with a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Chapman University, Jamie honed her skills across pediatric, family medicine, women’s health, and infertility clinics in the bustling hubs of Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Think of her as a medical adventurer, navigating the wilds of sniffles, scrapes, and everything in between.

With a knack for preventative medicine and patient education, Jamie’s mission is to empower families through every stage of childhood—tantrums and triumphs alike. She’s all about forging trusting bonds with kids and their caregivers, turning every visit into a warm, welcoming experience that’s less “doctor’s office” and more “friendly neighborhood health hub.” Her goal? To team up with families to ensure every kiddo grows up healthy, happy, and ready to conquer the playground.
When she’s not wielding her stethoscope, Jamie can be found chasing sunsets at the beach, jet-setting to new destinations, or cracking jokes with her family and friends. She’s thrilled to join the stellar crew at Lighthouse Pediatrics, where she’s ready to make a splash in keeping kids smiling and thriving.
