Pediatrician
Dr. Lydia Elias has been practicing Pediatric medicine since 2005. She graduated from UCSF-Fresno Pediatric Residency and is board certified in Pediatrics. She is also on Clinical Faculty at Western University of Health Sciences Medical School.
Dr. Elias is on the medical staff of both Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center.
Dr. Elias has more than 10 years of pediatric practice experience. she is well versed in all areas of pediatrics and has a special interest in Child Behavior and Development. She is the Founder of the fast growing Practice Lighthouse Pediatrics in 2011.
Now that she is married and has 4 young children, she is excited to be a mother and a pediatrician where she is able to relate to her patients better.
Dr. Elias also speaks Spanish, and she works hard to accommodate every patients’ healthcare needs, by being available and more educational.
Dr.Varona Nikore
Pediatrician
Dr. Varona Nikore is a Pediatrician who has been a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2003 and Board certified since 2006 and has greatly enjoyed the variety of experiences she has had in private practice and academics. In 2010 she received the Excellence in Student Teaching Faculty Award while working in the Department of Pediatrics at UIC in Chicago.
She truly finds great joy in caring for patients. Dr. Nikore is passionate about preventative medicine and loves providing education and support for healthy lifestyles.
She enjoys doing yoga and has a love for travel. As a mother of two, she adores cooking and baking with her children. She and her husband and kids love staying active and appreciate the lovely Southern California weather and the beautiful outdoors.
Dr. Nikore is so pleased to share her commitment to children's health with the wonderful team at Lighthouse Pediatrics.
Marina Gatas N.P.
Nurse Practitioner
Marina Moussa, MSN-FNP, BSN, RN, earned her B.A. in psychology from CSULA in 2013, a B.S. in Nursing from California Baptist University in 2015 and her MSN of science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from CBU in 2018. While attending CBU for her masters, Marina trained and volunteered at various pediatric, family, and women’s health clinics through out the south bay area as well as did her preceptorship at Children’s hospital of Orange County (CHOC).
Meanwhile, Marina worked at LAC+USC Medical Center as a NICU Nurse before earning her FNP degree. Marina really enjoys working with the pediatric population and hopes to share that passion with her patients and their families.
In her spare time, Marina enjoys traveling, hiking, and serving in her church community. Marina is married and has one child. She is also fluent in Arabic. She is very blessed and excited to be part of the Lighthouse Pediatrics Family and is proud to work with such a fantastic team.
